This portfolio does not need a live backend for the public site.
The content changes when I publish something, not every second. That makes Astro plus Markdown a good fit: articles, notes, and project pages can be written as files, then built into static HTML.
The important part is keeping the content structure clean. Blog posts are for complete articles. Notes are for shorter observations. Projects are for proof of work.
That gives the site room to grow without making deployment expensive or complicated.
